I’m Alana Bernal, founder of Alana’s Fútbol Club, a Bay Area–based soccer community built around connection, good energy, and a shared love of the game. What started as me just looking forward to weekly pickup turned into something much bigger — a space where people can show up, meet new people, and just play. AFC is all about making soccer feel accessible again. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, there’s a lane for you. And while it’s co-ed, creating a space where women feel comfortable stepping onto the field has always been a big part of why I started this. Outside of the pitch, I bring my background in content and storytelling into everything I build, turning simple pickup games into a real community people want to be part of.
